VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – June 7, 2022– Lawson is pleased to be recognized as a Top 50 Affordable Housing Developer by Affordable Housing Finance magazine. Lawson is number 43 on the 2021 list published in the May/June 2022 edition. This is the first time Lawson has been included in the AHF Top 50, the only list of its kind in the affordable housing industry. 

Lawson is a vertically integrated real estate firm specializing in the development, construction, and management of affordable, LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit), and conventional market-rate multifamily housing communities. The firm currently manages approximately 4,600 apartments with an additional 1,200 units in our development and construction pipeline. 

In 2021 Lawson sold out-of-state assets to focus exclusively on providing best-in-class apartment living to Virginia families.
