VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – October 28, 2020 – Market Heights, Lawson’s newest LIHTC affordable housing development broke ground yesterday on Norfolk’s Tidewater Drive. The 100% affordable 164-unit apartment community includes 80 apartments meeting universal design requirements, 17 ADA apartments meeting UFAS accessibility standards, and 12 apartments reserved for residents with developmental disabilities. On-site DD services will be provided by Hope House. Market Heights features class-A amenities not often found in income-restricted communities including a fitness center, pocket park with walking path, bicycle storage, and outdoor grilling area and pet station.
