Celebrating the Grand Opening of The Foundry!

Lawson is thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of The Foundry Apartments – a brand-new 200-unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) affordable housing community in Richmond, Virginia!
The Foundry provides Richmond families earning at or below 60% of Area Median Income with top quality 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartment homes boasting high-end features not aften associated with affordable housing. Community amenities include a resort-style pool, modern fitness center, accessible playground, community clubhouse, outdoor fire pit and grilling area, and indoor and outdoor bicycle storage – a feature requested by the city. Spacious energy-efficient apartments in Energy Star rated buildings include modern kitchen and bath finishes with granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring, and in-unit washer and dryer hookups.
The Foundry is convenient to area shopping and employment centers and located less than a mile from the I-64/I-95 entrance in Richmond’s Chamberlayne district. This historically industrial area in Richmond’s Northside is experiencing an exciting revitalization with several new affordable and market-rate residential developments recently completed or under construction.
